Our story

You're not starting over, you're starting wiser

Women Rewritten started as one woman's voice note to herself at 2am — now come be a part of the many female voices rewriting their story one chapter at a time.

Why we exist

Because someone has to say it out loud.

There are a thousand podcasts about success. Very few about what happens in the middle — the part where you're not sure who you are anymore, where the old life is gone and the new one hasn't arrived yet.

Women Rewritten exists for that in-between. For the woman who is quietly rebuilding her identity, her finances, her confidence, her body, her relationships — and doing it mostly alone.

We believe that rebuilding is not a setback. It is the most courageous thing a woman can do. And we believe no woman should have to do it without a voice in her ear saying: you are not crazy, you are not broken, and you are not alone.

What we stand for

Radical honesty

No toxic positivity. No pretending it's easy. We tell the truth about what rebuilding actually looks like.

Zero judgment

Whether you're rebuilding from divorce, loss, burnout, addiction, or just a life that stopped fitting — you belong here.

Real voices

Every guest is a real woman with a real story. No celebrities, no polished PR narratives — just truth.

Action over inspiration

We don't just make you feel good. We give you something to do with the feeling.

The Story Behind Women Rewritten Trish Newberry knows something about rewriting a life. At 18, she became a mother. Before she had really figured out who she was, she was responsible for someone else. Over the years that followed, she became a wife, a mother of three, a provider, and eventually the primary breadwinner for her family. She learned early how to work hard, figure things out, and keep moving—even when life didn't look anything like the plan she once imagined. After 17 years of marriage, Trish found herself divorced and raising her family while building a career of her own. There was no perfect roadmap and no guarantee that everything would work out. She simply learned how to put one foot in front of the other, make difficult decisions, and create a life she could be proud of. Over the years, that determination turned into a successful career in sales and leadership, but perhaps more importantly, it taught her something she carries with her today: sometimes the life you build is very different from the life you originally planned—and that doesn't mean it's a lesser life. Now in her 50s, Trish finds herself in another season of reinvention. Her children are grown. Her priorities have changed. She's thinking differently about success, freedom, relationships, money, purpose, aging, beauty, and what she wants the next chapter of her life to look like. And she's discovered that reinvention isn't something that happens only after a divorce, a career change, an empty nest, or a major loss. Sometimes you simply wake up one day and realize that the woman you've become isn't the woman you're finished becoming. That realization became the inspiration for Women Rewritten. Women Rewritten was created for women who have spent years being wives, mothers, daughters, caregivers, professionals, and the person everyone else could count on—and are now asking a very different question: What do I want for me? Through honest conversations, real stories, and the uncomfortable, funny, beautiful realities of starting a new chapter, Trish wants to create a place where women can talk about the things we don't always say out loud. The relationships that changed us. The careers we outgrew. The bodies we are learning to live in. The money conversations we should have had sooner. The dreams we put on hold. And the possibility that perhaps our most interesting chapters haven't happened yet. Because Trish doesn't believe women need to start over. She believes they've earned the right to start wiser. And that's what Women Rewritten is about.

"I didn't just rebuild my life. I rewrote it. And I'm still writing."
